Will I get my caution fee back?

Your caution fee (also called a caution deposit) is held in case of damage. If there is no damage claim, it comes back to you in full after your booking.

When you check out, you are asked whether anything was damaged, so you can note it yourself. If the host reports damage, your booking shows the claim and the most they can get, which is your caution fee.

If you disagree, tap Dispute this claim before the date shown. Our team then decides, and we hold your caution fee until it is settled. If you do not dispute in time, the claim is taken from your caution fee.
