Do I need to add a bank account for refunds?

Usually not. Refunds go back to the card or method you paid with.

Where refunds to a bank account are offered, you see Refund account under Account > Payments. To add one, verify your name with your NIN and a selfie, then add a bank account in that same name. A new or changed account has a 24-hour waiting period, and each refund is checked before it goes there; otherwise it goes back to how you paid.

If you do not see Refund account, your refunds go back to how you paid. This account is only for refunds; hosts set up payouts separately.
